Christopher F. McCarthy’s practice is concentrated in the areas of commercial real estate sale and leasing transactions, electric utilities, real estate litigation and other commercial litigation. McCarthy’s practice includes in-depth knowledge of negotiation, preparation and litigation of commercial leases, licensing agreements and other complex contracts. In addition, he has extensive experience in litigating electrical utility joint use agreements, damage claims, and related utility issues.
With a proven track record of innovative, efficient service and significant experience in arbitration, mediation and dispute resolution proceedings, McCarthy’s clients consistently seek his counsel with issues relating to all areas of commercial real estate, contract disputes and electric utility law.
Prior to joining Berry Riddell, he was a partner with a large national law firm and Senior Counsel with two AmLaw200 ranked national law firms, representing and advising clients in real estate transaction, complex contract negotiations and commercial litigation.
McCarthy received his Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Arizona and is a member of the State Bar of Arizona; he is also admitted to the state bars of Florida, California, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
